Ask the AI chat and it designs the email and adds the step for you. Available on the Builder plan and above. Read more: Designing your app's emails

Decide how new connectors arrive

October 2, 2026

On the Enterprise plan, workspace owners and admins can now choose what happens when Base44 releases a new connector. Read more: Setting up SSO for your app

Let your workspace join your app

October 1, 2026

Choose who can collaborate on your app. With Workspace members, anyone in your workspace becomes a collaborator as soon as they open the app, no invite needed. Read more: Choosing who can collaborate

Choose who can embed your app

October 1, 2026

One policy for the workspace: On the Enterprise plan, owners and admins set a single embedding policy in Governance and every app in the workspace follows it. Tighter for one app: An app can be stricter than the workspace policy, never looser. Where a workspace policy applies, the app says so. Read more: Controlling app embedding

Browse and search: Find any app visible to the workspace, and filter by recently used, most popular, or new this week. Sections: Admins can group apps by team or task. Any published app can go in Featured or a section, and each member only sees the apps they can open. Your hub, your brand: Add a cover image, a logo, and a description. Decide what search engines can see

September 28, 2026

You now have full control over what gets indexed, on the Meta tags tab of the SEO & GEO page. Page by page: Each page has a search visibility toggle, and a column showing at a glance which pages are indexed. Turning a page off removes it from your sitemap and adds a noindex tag. Read more: Page search settings

GitHub connections moved to the workspace level

September 27, 2026

GitHub connections now belong to the workspace instead of one person's account, under a new GitHub tab in your workspace settings. Connections you already had moved across on their own. One connection for the team: Anyone in the workspace can edit and publish synced apps without connecting GitHub themselves, and commits show Base44 as the author. Decide who can connect: Open adding organizations to everyone, or limit it to admins and owners. Control which organizations are allowed: Each connected organization has its own toggle, and members only see the allowed ones when they create or import a repository. See everything in one place: Every connection is listed with its status, and disconnecting one tells you how many apps stop syncing before you confirm. Base Code projects always use per user connections.

Collaborator avatars in the app editor show which branch each person is on, and clicking one jumps you to it. A toast announces a collaborator arriving on your branch.

New template categories, and smarter ranking

September 22, 2026

Templates now split into Apps and Websites, with more categories underneath, making it easier to find the right one. Ranking also takes into account how people actually use a template, not just how many times it was cloned.

September 22, 2026

An in-app agent or integration call running on Gemini 3.8 Flash now uses twice as many integration credits as it did before. The model and what it does are unchanged. The new rate follows a price rise from the model provider.

Follow your Superagent's calls from the chat

September 21, 2026

Watch a call as it happens: An outbound call now reports back into the conversation that started it, on WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, or the web chat, and the follow-up names who was called, why, and what came of it. Set up a number when one is needed: If a goal needs a call and your agent has no number yet, it walks you through setting one up in the chat rather than sending you to its settings.

Your Superagent greets people on Telegram

Describe the deck you want and Base44 builds a presentation you can edit, publish, and present. Edit slides directly: Change the text on a slide in Edit mode, and move between slides from the thumbnail rail. Speaker notes: Write notes under a slide, or have Base44 generate them. They save as you type and feed the speaker view. 4 ways to show it: A published deck opens in Overview, Speaker, Audience, or Print. Speaker view has a timer and can open a separate display for your audience. Read more: Building a presentation

Your Superagent replies like a person

September 17, 2026

Your Base44 Superagent Can Now Make Phone Calls

September 17, 2026

Your Base44 Superagent can now make phone calls. It calls, chases the answer, and coordinates with people for you. Give it a multi-step goal and it is still working after you close the chat. Get your Superagent on Base44.

Data version history is now Backup & Restore

September 17, 2026

The Data tab's version history panel is now called Backup & Restore, and its wording follows: backups are kept for 7 or 30 days depending on your plan, and you restore your data to a point in time rather than to a version. How it works has not changed. Read more: Backup & Restore

Every permissions change lands in the AI chat

September 15, 2026

Claim your workspace's email domain

September 15, 2026

Anyone with an address on that domain then joins your workspace rather than opening one of their own, and the login and signup screens say so. Read more: About workspaces

Reconnect an app to the repository it left

September 15, 2026

An app that was disconnected from GitHub can connect back to the same repository. Base44 reads the commit history on both sides and works out whether to push your app's work up or bring the repository's version in. Read more: Bringing your own GitHub project

Delete a data table from its card

September 15, 2026

The menu on a table's card in the Data tab now deletes the table. If something else in your app still depends on it, the message names every table standing in the way. Read more: Managing your app data

Add a video to a Google Ads campaign

September 15, 2026

You can upload a video file to a Google Ads campaign from the create wizard, from the add video dialog, or when you swap one video for another. Base44 publishes it unlisted to the YouTube channel behind your Ads account. Read more: Google Ads campaigns

Give your Superagent a goal it keeps working toward

September 15, 2026

A goal is a long piece of work rather than a single request. Your Superagent holds on to what you asked for, its own success criteria, and its open tasks across every run, picks the work back up on its own, and checks the result against what you wanted before it treats the goal as done. Start one anywhere: Type /goal in the chat and select Goal, or ask for it from a channel your agent is connected to, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, or Slack. Follow the work: A Goal running banner shows how it is going, Sub-agents lists what is working on it, and Open goal shows the full list of tasks. Pause and come back: Pausing holds the goal with its tasks and results intact until you resume it. Read more: Set a goal

Your own encryption key for workspace secrets

September 15, 2026

Available on the Enterprise plan. Your workspace can now have a dedicated key for encrypting its secrets, such as API keys and integration credentials, instead of sharing one with other customers. Your existing secrets move across in seconds, with no downtime and nothing for you to do. Talk to your account team to turn it on.

Ask your Superagent for its own phone number

September 14, 2026

A dedicated phone number is available on the Builder plan and above. You can now set up a dedicated phone number by asking for one in chat, either in the web chat or in a direct message on WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, or LINE. Send back the verification code when it arrives and your agent finishes the setup itself, with no trip to its settings.

Compare any 2 versions of your app

September 14, 2026

Version history now shows the code behind each entry. Open Code changes on a version to see what changed, compare your current code against main or against your live app, and compare a branch straight from its row in the branch picker.

Skills and integrations in the slash menu

September 14, 2026

Type / in the AI chat to see your workspace's skills and the integrations available to it, with the ones you have already connected listed first. Picking a skill drops it into your prompt. Picking an integration you have not connected yet starts a prompt to connect it.

Your model choice follows you

September 14, 2026

The model you pick in the AI chat is now remembered for you rather than for the app, so your choice carries across your apps, main, and every branch. It does not change the model anyone else is working with.

Keep working on an app with a protected main branch

September 14, 2026

When an app's main branch is protected, the AI chat still answers questions and reads your code. Ask for something that would change the app and it offers to create a branch, then carries your request into it. Read more: Working with branches

Resolve pull request conflicts on an imported app

September 14, 2026

When a pull request on an imported app conflicts with the branch it is merging into, the AI chat now tells you in its pull request note and offers to work through the conflict with you. Read more: Bringing your own GitHub project

Your Superagent makes the record changes you ask for

September 13, 2026

Ask your Superagent to create, update, or delete records and it now carries out exactly what you named in the same turn, without asking you to confirm again. Background runs, sub-agent turns, and requests from anyone other than you still come to WhatsApp or Telegram for your approval first.

Filter data version history across your tables

September 13, 2026

The Data version history panel now filters across up to 200 tables at once, and refreshes on demand so you can check the latest changes without reloading.

Imported apps follow their own AGENTS.md rules

September 13, 2026

On an app imported from GitHub, Base44 now reads the AGENTS.md files along the path it is working in and follows the rules it finds there before it edits anything. Read more: Bringing your own GitHub project

Better outbound calls from your Superagent

September 10, 2026

Work through phone menus: Your agent can press keys during a call, so it can get past "press 1 for sales" and carry on with the same call. A warmer opening: Calls now open with a short introduction of who your agent is calling for, then ask one question at a time and respond to what the other person actually says.

Finish connecting a Telegram bot that took a different name

September 10, 2026

If the username you suggested was already taken, you now get a Finish connecting link that binds the bot Telegram actually created. If more than one of your bots can be connected, Telegram asks you which one you mean.

Connect GitHub without leaving your pull request

September 10, 2026

Opening a pull request on an imported app now offers to connect your GitHub account right there, whether you started from the toolbar or from the AI chat, and picks up where you left off once you are connected.

Plan mode is a conversation now

September 10, 2026

Plan mode used to walk you through a fixed set of question cards. Now it is a conversation: the AI reacts to what you say, asks about what is genuinely missing, and suggests things you have not thought of. Answer in your own words: Most questions come as plain text, so you can answer partly, skip one, or take the conversation somewhere else. Some still arrive as a card of options when the answer is a concrete choice. Keep typing: You do not have to wait to be asked. Send a message while a question is on screen and the AI takes it into account alongside your answers. Watch the plan fill in: Plan progress sits beside the conversation and tracks 4 sections, checking each one off once there is enough to write it: intent and goal, audience and roles, core flows, and design. Read more: Using plan mode

Base44 Launches Global Communities

September 9, 2026

Base44 launched official communities for Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese speakers, with weekly educational programming plus day-to-day conversation and troubleshooting in each language.

Claim a custom domain another workspace used

September 8, 2026

Deleting an app no longer puts its custom domain back in the open. The domain stays reserved for the workspace that had it, and another workspace has to prove it controls the domain before connecting it. Your own workspace: Reconnecting a domain your workspace used before connects straight away, with nothing to prove. A different workspace: The add-domain dialog shows the TXT record to publish at your DNS provider. Add it, then try again. Still in use: A domain attached to a live app cannot be taken over. Whoever is using it has to remove it first. Read more: Claiming a domain another workspace used

Open a transaction in full

September 8, 2026

In Payments, select a row in the Transactions tab to open that payment on its own page. It reads the same way for Wix and Stripe payments. The whole picture: You see the summary, fees and net amount, refund reference, payment method, and the order's line items with shipping and billing details. What happened when: A timeline shows each step the payment went through. Read more: Transactions

Turn analytics off from the AI chat

September 8, 2026

Read the transcript of a phone call

September 7, 2026

Ask your Superagent for a recorded call's transcript and it fetches the text for you. Recent calls come back with their call IDs, and a long transcript arrives in pages. Adding a trusted caller now checks that the number is a valid international phone number.

Revert a message on a branch

September 7, 2026

Version history now offers Revert on any branch you can write to. Reverting restores that branch's checkpoint as a new commit on the branch itself, so main is untouched. Editing and resending a message stays on main. Read more: Using version history on a branch

The branch menu sits beside your app name

September 7, 2026

A Main pill next to the app name opens the branch menu. When you are on a branch, the pill carries the branch name in an accent color and the app name folds in behind a slash, so you always know where you are working. Read more: Switching between branches

Review a pull request without leaving Base44

September 7, 2026

On an app imported from GitHub, select the PR chip to open the files changed and their line counts, and edit the title and description inline. Read more: Opening a pull request

Placeholder values keep an imported app running

September 7, 2026

When an imported app is missing a variable it needs to start, Base44 generates an encrypted placeholder so the app boots anyway. The placeholders sit in their own collapsed section with a Replace value action, ready for you to drop in the real key when you have it. Read more: Adding secrets

An Infrastructure page on every imported app

Partners can get paid in the client chat

September 7, 2026

If you are a Base44 partner in the US, you can send a payment request straight into a client thread and get paid by card, powered by Wix Payments. Set it up once: Connect a Wix Payments account under Partners, in Messages, then send a request from any client thread. One-off or recurring: Your client gets a pay link in the chat and pays by card. Getting your money: Base44 takes 15%, and you withdraw the rest after 30 days once you complete the payouts identity check.

Your Superagent uses the skills you already have

September 7, 2026

Your Superagent draws on Base44's own skills and the ones you have installed, so a task moves straight to the work instead of pausing to suggest an install. You browse and add skills yourself in the Skills tab under Plugins. Read more: Adding workspace skills

A quick reaction while your Superagent works

September 6, 2026

When you send your Superagent a direct message on WhatsApp and the answer takes more than a few seconds, it reacts to your message with an emoji so you know it is working. A reply that lands quickly arrives without one. This applies to direct messages, not group chats.

One model lineup for everything your app runs

September 6, 2026

InvokeLLM, in-app agents, and image and text generation now share a single lineup: Gemini 3.8 Flash, GPT 5.6 Luna, Terra and Sol, Sonnet 5, Opus 5, Fable 5.1, GPT 6 Astra, and GLM 5.2. Every model is available on every plan, with credits as the cost control. An app that calls a retired model name keeps working.

Pausing a Google Ads campaign explains what you are pausing

September 6, 2026

When you pause a campaign that is still in its learning phase, the dialog tells you which situation the campaign is in: Never served, converting, running without conversions, or conversion tracking not set up. Every pause asks you to confirm, and where lowering your daily budget is the better move, the dialog suggests it. Read more: Managing your campaign

Fewer political declarations on EU campaigns

September 6, 2026

Every campaign that reaches the EU runs a political-intent check at launch and at retarget. A campaign the check reads as clearly non-political is declared for you. Anything political or unclear still goes to the declaration form. Read more: Creating and launching a campaign

The plus menu in the AI chat carries Explore component library, so you can browse ready-made components and drop one into your app while you build. Read more: Design

Shorter progress updates from your Superagent

September 5, 2026

Your Superagent now writes one short line in the language you wrote in, then works straight through to the result. It comes back to you when it needs an answer from you or hits something it cannot get past, rather than narrating each step.

Your Superagent reads pages instead of sending screenshots

September 5, 2026

When your Superagent browses the web, it reads what is on the page and answers from that. It sends a screenshot only when your request is about how something looks, so a channel like WhatsApp gives you the answer rather than a stream of images. Read more: Browser control

Claude Sonnet 5 and Opus 5

September 5, 2026

Anthropic's newest Claude models are in the AI chat. Automatic mode runs Sonnet 5 for ongoing work, planning, and turns that involve images, and Opus 5 for your first message on plans that do not use cost-saving models. An app whose code names an older Claude model keeps working, and now shows that model's readable name. Read more: Choosing your model

Gemini 3.8 Flash in the AI chat

September 5, 2026

Google's Gemini 3.8 Flash sits directly under Fable 5.1 in the model picker. It suits fast responses on everyday tasks. Read more: Choosing your model

Less chatter while your Superagent works

September 5, 2026

Your Superagent reports less and does more. One acknowledgement per turn: It writes a single short sentence in the language you wrote in, then works through to the result. You hear from it again when it needs your input or hits something it cannot get past. Answers rather than screenshots: When it browses, it reads the page's content and sends a screenshot only when your request is genuinely visual, so a channel like WhatsApp gets the answer instead of a stream of images.

Open an app in a new tab

September 5, 2026

App, agent, and plan cards on the Apps page are real links now, so middle-click, cmd-click, and Copy link all work the way you expect.

Share an app with a group

September 5, 2026

Available on the Enterprise plan. An app's Users page has a Groups tab, and the invite dialog suggests the groups in your workspace, so you can give a whole team access to an app in one step instead of inviting people one at a time.

Your security scan checks for unauthorized credit usage

September 4, 2026

Running a security scan on your app now includes a Credit protection check, which finds places where someone could spend your credits without signing in. Each finding comes with a fix you can apply from your app's Security page. Read more: Running a security scan

GPT 6 Astra in the AI chat and Superagent

September 4, 2026

GPT 6 Astra is OpenAI's newest and most capable model, suited to the hardest reasoning and the most demanding builds. It uses more credits for each request. You can choose it in the AI chat and for your Superagent, where both model pickers now group models by the company that makes them. Read more: Choosing your model

Row-level security denies an empty value

September 2, 2026

A row-level security rule that checks something about the signed-in user now denies access when that value is empty or cannot be resolved. It used to match records where the field was missing, which could show more than you intended. Read more: Managing your app data

Mention your Superagent in Slack

September 2, 2026

Mentioning @Superagent in a Slack channel reaches the agent you connected yourself, on every Slack plan including the free one. If your agent does not recognize you yet, reconnect it once from its Slack tab. Workspaces that do not allow user groups have no agent handle, so @Superagent is the way to reach your agent there. Read more: Slack

Fable 5.1 in the AI chat

September 2, 2026

Fable 5.1 takes the place of Fable 5 in the AI chat. It suits complex, multi-step builds and detailed debugging, when you want thorough results, and it uses more credits for each request. If you had Fable 5 selected, you see Fable 5.1 in its place. Read more: Choosing your model

Edit your branch's code in the Code tab

September 2, 2026

The Code tab now saves to the branch you are on, so you can change your app's code in a branch and leave main untouched. Your changes reach main when you merge. A few files change your whole app rather than one branch. Base44 stops the save on those and points you to main, so you do not need to work out which is which. Read more: Code on a branch

A credit toward your first Google Ads campaign

September 1, 2026

If your account qualifies, the campaign wizard now shows a first-campaign credit offer in your own currency, so you can see what you get back before you set a budget. Read more: Tracking your ad credits

Turn a note into a kanban board

September 1, 2026

A note can now hold a live kanban board, so you can track work alongside everything else you and your Superagent write down. Build it in the note: Add cards and columns, edit them in place, drag a card from one column to another, and use the per-card and per-column menus to make changes. Shared links show the board: When you share a note by link, anyone who opens it sees the board laid out and ready to read. Read more: Taking notes

Every branch of an imported app gets its own preview

September 1, 2026

A branch of an imported app now runs in its own environment with its own preview address, so you can open a branch and see just that branch's version of the app. Branches run independently: Each branch keeps its own queue of messages, so work on one branch does not wait on another. New branches start warm: A new branch copies an existing branch's built code, installed packages, and data, so it is ready to use sooner. Read more: Working with branches

Example prompts on connector cards

September 1, 2026

In the Connectors panel in the app editor, a connector your workspace already has carries a Use button that lists example prompts. Pick one and it drops straight into AI chat. A connector that is already wired into the open app shows a green check. Read more: Connectors

Templates are moving to free listings

September 1, 2026

New template listings are free from here on. A paid template you already published stays paid and fully editable until 30 September 2026, and the listing form now carries a notice about that date. You can switch a paid template to free at any time, and that switch is permanent. Read more: App templates

Service principals on every enterprise workspace

September 1, 2026

Available on the Enterprise plan. An enterprise workspace can create service principals, issue their credentials, and remove them, so an automated system gets its own identity instead of borrowing a person's.

Comment on your app while you build

August 31, 2026

Pin a comment to any element on your app preview and work through feedback in a thread with the people you build with. Everyone who can edit the app sees the same comments, and new activity appears for all of you as it happens. Threads stay put: A comment stays anchored to its element as your app changes, so a thread still points at the right spot after your next build. Hand a thread to Base44: Send a comment to the AI chat and Base44 works through the feedback for you. Only you see them: Comments live inside the app editor. People using your published app never see them. Read more: Commenting on your app

Your Superagent can take notes in your meetings

August 31, 2026

Your Superagent can join a meeting on your connected calendar as a notetaker. It records the meeting, writes up the notes and action items, saves them to its notes library, and emails them to you once the meeting ends. It works with any meeting that has a video link, such as Google Meet or Zoom. Read more: Recording your meetings

See a branch's code in the editor

August 31, 2026

The Code tab now shows the file tree of the branch you are on, the same one that branch's preview renders. Read more: Working with branches

Deploy more than 50 backend functions

August 31, 2026

Deploying a backend function on its own no longer counts against a 50 function ceiling, whether you deploy from the CLI, the app editor, or an in-app agent. Replacing an app's whole set of functions in a single call still tops out at 50.

Daily app invite limits follow your plan

August 31, 2026

How many people you can invite to your app in a day now depends on your plan, from 250 a day on Starter up to 2,500 on Enterprise. Free and Lite stay at 100. Invites sent from inside a published app are unchanged. Read more: Inviting users to your app

In-app agent replies are charged by what they use

August 30, 2026

Each message your in-app agent answers is now charged on what that answer actually uses, with a small minimum per model, so a short answer costs less than a long one. Read more: How credits are used

Finished tool groups fold away in AI chat

August 30, 2026

A group of tools in AI chat closes itself once its work is done, so the conversation stays easy to scan. A group that is still running stays open.

Build one message on two models and keep the version you prefer

August 30, 2026

Every AI model has its own strengths, so instead of guessing which one fits your request, you can now run the same message on two models at once and choose the result you like. Pick the 2 models from the model picker, click Compare, then send your message. Preview before you commit: The chat shows each version's status as it builds, then asks which you prefer. Your main app stays untouched until you choose, and you can reject both. Find them in your branches: Each compared version is a branch of your app, so both are in your branches list while you decide. Comparing models requires a Builder plan or higher, and it builds your message twice, so it uses 2× credits. Read more: Comparing models

Sign in with a Microsoft name that is not your email

August 29, 2026

If your Microsoft sign-in name is different from your email address, you can now sign in with either one. Base44 matches you against the identifiers Microsoft provides, so nothing extra is needed from you or your admin. Read more: Setting up Microsoft Entra SSO

Give access to a private app at sign-in

August 27, 2026

Available for admins and owners on the Enterprise plan. A private app can grant access on a successful SSO sign-in, so anyone who authenticates through your identity provider gets in without waiting for an invite. Off by default: Set a workspace-level default, then override it on any app with on, off, or inherit, so some apps can stay invite only. What it needs: The app has to be set to Private, and your workspace has to have SSO configured. Read more: Automatically giving access to private apps

One credit rule for every email your app sends

August 27, 2026

Every email your app sends is now charged and logged the same way, whichever part of your app sends it. Emails from workflows use integration credits: A workflow email uses an integration credit, the same as an email sent from your app's code, and appears in App Logs and your credit reports. Once your workspace reaches its integration credit limit, a workflow email stops with an out-of-credits error. An email that never leaves costs nothing: A send that does not go through gets its own App Logs row at no credit, and configuration and limit problems name what to change, so you can fix the cause without guessing. Read more: Exploring app logs and How credits are used

A notification when your publish request goes through

August 26, 2026

If you asked an approver to publish your app, you get an in-app notification the moment it goes live. Read more: Publish approval requests

Your GitHub identity on commits made from Base44

August 26, 2026

The font pickers in your app editor now include a catalog of over 25 licensed font families, from classic serifs to modern display faces. Search by name or browse the list from the Fonts tab in the Theme panel. Read more: Fonts

Make a workspace member an agency partner

August 25, 2026

A workspace admin can now grant agency partner status to a member from Members and groups in workspace settings. The status retires on its own when that member leaves the workspace. Available on the Pro plan and above.

Manage your Wix store products in the app editor

August 25, 2026

If your app has a connected Wix store, you can now manage its products from a Store view inside the app editor instead of opening the Wix dashboard in a new tab.

See which element your Edit mode request applies to

August 25, 2026

The element you pick in Edit mode now appears as a chip in the AI chat input, so you can check what your request applies to before you send it. Remove the chip to drop the selection, and the chip stays on the message after you send it. Read more: Design

Search for people when adding them to a group

August 25, 2026

Adding members to a group now opens a search overlay, so you can find people by name instead of scrolling the whole list. The overlay stays open while you add several people, the roster keeps a steady height, and the Groups tab in your app finds the groups a member belongs to by name. Read more: Managing enterprise members

Email people who are not registered users of your app

August 25, 2026

Your app can now send email to addresses that do not belong to a registered app user. This works on a paid plan when your app has a custom domain connected and verified, and every send goes through content screening, recipient hygiene checks, and anti-abuse limits. Read more: Sending emails from your app

Communities moderated by Base44 carry a verified badge, and you can submit your own group to the directory. Join events: RSVP to virtual, in-person, and hybrid events, add them to your calendar, and browse past sessions. To open Basecamp, click Community in your workspace. You can also browse without signing in at base44.com/basecamp. Read more: Finding communities and events in Basecamp

Refine a design option before you choose it

August 24, 2026

When the AI offers you visual design options, you no longer have to take one as it comes. Click the Expand icon on an option to open it in full view, shape it until it looks right, then click Apply. Adjust the details: Describe a targeted change, such as a lighter background or a more minimal layout, and the option keeps its direction while only those details change. Ask for something else: Request a completely different direction and that option is replaced with a fresh concept. Read more: Choosing a design option

Notes: A shared workspace with your Superagent

August 24, 2026

Notes gives you and your Superagent one shared workspace for the context that should stay useful beyond a single conversation. Open the Notes tab in Superagent to get started. Built for you: Connect your email and calendar and your Superagent turns useful information into organized topic pages, with a For you page for tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines. Edit together: Create rich pages yourself or ask your Superagent to create and update them from chat. Share a note: Share a note with another person by email so you can both edit it, or publish a page as an unlisted link.

Your Superagent joins your meetings

August 24, 2026

From the new Meetings tab, your Superagent joins your online meetings on Zoom or Google Meet, listens, and takes notes for you. A native Superagents experience in the mobile app

August 20, 2026

The Superagents tab in the Base44 mobile app is now fully native. You get a redesigned list to manage all your agents in one place, with native navigation, smooth scrolling, real gestures, and faster screens.

A branch behaves like a full copy of your app

August 19, 2026

A branch is now built and served on its own, so it works like a real copy of your app instead of a variation of main. Its own preview: A branch preview serves the branch's own pages and reads its own schema, and Edit mode and split-screen editing work there too. Its own version history: Version history reads the branch's history, so restoring a version brings back that branch's state instead of overwriting it with main's schema and navigation. Merge from AI chat: Ask AI chat to merge a branch into main, or update a branch from main, then confirm it from a card in the chat. Start one while your app is building: Create a branch before main finishes generating. It forks from the last completed version and starts building right away. Merging, deleting, and importing still wait until main is idle. On any GitHub-connected app: Create a branch on any app connected to GitHub, and import a repository branch as an app branch. From your phone: Switch, create, and merge branches on mobile web and in the iOS and Android app. Read more: Working with branches

Share an app with a workspace group

August 19, 2026

Bring an existing GitHub project into Base44

August 19, 2026

You can now import a GitHub repository and work on it like any other app. Base44 sets it up in a cloud environment, so there is no local setup and you can work from any browser. Make changes in AI chat: Ask for changes in AI chat and see them live in the preview. Ship back as a pull request: Send your changes back to the repository as a pull request, so the repository stays your source of truth. Private repositories: Connect private repositories through your own GitHub sign-in. Read more: Connecting your GitHub repository

Git commits get real descriptions

August 17, 2026

Base44 now reads what a turn actually changed and writes the commit message and checkpoint name from it, so your connected repository's history reads like "Add pie chart component" instead of a generic label.

Your Superagent does more with your messages

August 17, 2026

Reaches your other apps: Message your Superagent on WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, or iMessage and it can now answer about any app in your workspace, and write data across them, instead of only the app it belongs to. Messages from anyone other than the owner stay closed, as do workspaces using SSO or an IP allowlist. Takes a message mid-run: A message you send while your agent's turn is running now joins that run at its next step, instead of waiting for the turn to finish. This works from the Send now button in the agent editor, and automatically in a 1:1 WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, or Slack conversation. Shows images in chat: When your Superagent sends an image, or links to one directly, chat now shows the picture itself instead of a link.

A guided Payments tab for your app

August 17, 2026

The new Payments tab walks you through going live with payments. Connect Base44 Payments (powered by Wix) or Stripe, finish setup with your provider, and run a test transaction to experience checkout the way your customers will. The tab appears once you connect a payment provider. Guided setup: A step-by-step flow takes you from connecting a provider to your first real payment. Test checkout: Run a test transaction to see the checkout your customers will use. Transaction data in one place: See your payments and revenue from your provider without opening an external dashboard. Read more: Tracking payments in your app

Control which channels your apps can use

August 17, 2026

Available for admins and owners on the Enterprise plan. A new Governance policy lets you control which communication channels your workspace's apps and agents can use, in both directions. Set a channel to allowed or blocked once, and every app and agent follows it. Covered channels: WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, Slack, and email. Per-app exceptions: Allow a specific app to use a channel, with a reason recorded. Enforced for you: The policy is enforced on Base44's servers, so an agent cannot be talked into bypassing it. Read more: Controlling which channels your apps can use

One callback URL for every app in your workspace

August 17, 2026

Setting up a connector with your own OAuth credentials used to mean registering a separate callback URL for every app host, and every new app or custom domain sent you back to register more. Connectors now use a single callback URL that covers all of your apps. Register it once: Add https://connectors.base44.com/api/oauth/callback to your OAuth provider, and it keeps working as you build more apps and connect custom domains. Move older connections when you are ready: Connections created earlier keep their per-app URLs and show a Per-app URLs badge. Switch one over from Callback URLs in the connection, and switch it back from the same place. Read more: Registering callback URLs

A richer All Apps page

August 13, 2026

The All Apps page has new ways to find and organize your apps. Filter, search, and sort: Narrow down your apps and sort them the way you want. More at a glance: App cards now show details like publish date, number of users, and collaborators. Drag into folders: Drag and drop apps into folders to keep them organized.

Multiple conversations with your Superagent

August 12, 2026

You can now keep separate conversations with your Superagent instead of one long chat. Each conversation keeps its own context, so unrelated work does not get mixed together. Work in parallel: Keep different tasks in different conversations. Pick up where you left off: Move between conversations without losing track of where you were. Archive old conversations: Tuck away conversations you are done with.

Let AI resolve your GitHub sync conflicts

August 11, 2026

You can now resolve a GitHub merge conflict without leaving Base44. When a sync hits a conflict, AI chat shows a Resolve option, reworks each conflicted file so changes from both sides survive, then pushes the finished merge back to your repository.

Custom domains are included in the Starter plan

August 11, 2026

You can connect a custom domain from the Starter plan up, instead of needing a one-off grant. You can also remove the Base44 badge from your app. The Starter plan does not include the free 1 year domain, so you buy or bring your own. Read more: Setting up your custom domain

Design systems now apply to captured and imported apps

August 10, 2026

You can now attach a workspace design system to an app that started somewhere else, like a website capture or a Figma import. Attach it once the app has finished building, and Base44 rebuilds the theme and every page on top of your design system instead of recoloring what is already there. Read more: Design system

Add entities and fields inside a branch

August 10, 2026

You can now add entities and fields while working in a branch, and see them right away in that branch's own preview. Records stay shared with your main app, and Base44 keeps your main schema safe from breaking changes. Read more: Working with branches

Require workspace API keys instead of personal ones

August 10, 2026

Available for admins and owners on the Enterprise plan. You can now require that your workspace's apps and data use only workspace service keys and app-user authentication, which blocks personal API keys. A Business workspace can have workspace keys, but requiring them is an Enterprise control. See how personal keys are used: Your workspace's Authentication settings now show personal API key usage, including request counts and how many people are using them. Read more: Blocking personal account API keys

Set publishing permissions by workspace group

August 10, 2026

On the Business plan and above, workspace governance now shows group rows next to role rows, so you can set publishing permissions for a whole group at once. Read more: Setting publishing permissions for groups

AI chat adapts to your preview width

August 9, 2026

AI chat now knows how wide your preview is rendering, so a narrower panel is treated as tablet-sized automatically, with no need to tell it.

Edit backend functions on a branch

August 9, 2026

You can now ask AI chat to add or change a backend function while you are working on a branch. The branch gets its own copy of the function, so your main app keeps running the version it already had until you merge. The preview runs the branch's version: A branch preview calls the functions you just changed, not main's. Shared files too: The files your functions import from your app's shared folder can be edited on the branch alongside them. Merging deploys them: When you merge the branch, its functions deploy to main. Publish from main as usual. Still main-only: Workflows and in-app agents have to be changed on main. Read more: Working with branches

Restore a deleted app from Trash

August 9, 2026

When you delete an app, it moves to Trash. You can restore it yourself for 30 days from the Trash view or the Undo toast, and a workspace admin can restore any app across the workspace. Restoring rebuilds your backend: Base44 also lists anything you need to set up again, since deleting immediately releases the app's custom domains, connected integrations, and automations. Read more: Deleting an app

Web search works with any AI model

August 9, 2026

Web search in AI chat now works with any model. Base44 runs up to three searches and merges what it finds into your request. Searches use credits.

Search your workspace settings by name

August 9, 2026

Search your settings by name from the settings sidebar. Results show each setting's name and the page it lives on, and selecting one takes you straight there.

Edit mode works on more elements

August 9, 2026

Edit mode now covers many more elements, including list items, table cells, buttons, and blockquotes. Edits to them save and update your live preview right away, and if one can't be applied, a message tells you why.

Choose exactly which emails you get

August 8, 2026

Unsubscribing from a Base44 email now only opts you out of marketing messages. Transactional emails, like login codes, password resets, and billing notices, always get through. Pick your topics: A new Email preferences page in your account settings lets you choose exactly which marketing topics you want to receive. Easy resubscribe: Clicking Unsubscribe opens a confirmation page with a one-click Resubscribe, so you don't need to contact support to opt back in. Read more: Managing your account

Security Center for Enterprise Workspaces

August 7, 2026

Teams keep building, you keep oversight. Scan and monitor every app in your workspace from one panel and see vulnerabilities ranked by severity, with a drill-down into any single app. Security and IT leads see where to focus first instead of checking one app at a time. Open Security Center from the admin sidebar, available on Enterprise workspaces.

Cleaner CSV imports for empty values and lists

August 6, 2026

Importing a CSV now handles list fields written as either JSON or a comma-separated string, and the Data tab reports import errors along with the real record count.

Switch a monthly plan to yearly from Manage Subscription

August 6, 2026

On the plan picker's Yearly tab, selecting your current monthly plan opens Manage Subscription, where Upgrade to Yearly switches you over in place. Read more: Switching from monthly to yearly

Login and signup pages load faster

August 6, 2026

The login and signup background images now load as responsive files sized for your screen instead of one large image, so both pages open faster on every device.

Attach large Figma brand files

August 6, 2026

You can now attach a large .fig brand guide. Pick the frames you need, and Base44 prepares the file in the background, downscaling oversized images inside it, so you can keep filling in the rest of the form while it works. Read more: Creating a design system

Branches Are Live in Base44

August 6, 2026

Build your V2 while V1 stays live. Branches are a parallel copy of your build: redesign it, test it, or run a campaign version while the published site stays untouched until you merge and publish. Your live version keeps running the whole time, data and all.

Branch your app to try changes safely

August 5, 2026

You can now branch your app from its name in the chat top bar, work in the branch's own preview, and merge back to main when you're ready. Build in parallel: Main and each branch run their own build queue, so up to five builds can run at once, and the branch menu shows which ones are still working. Edit mode follows your branch: Element selection and Edit mode changes save to the branch you're on, alongside the branch's own chat. Editing code directly in the code editor stays on main. Automatic branch names: Base44 names a new branch from your first message, in three words or fewer, always in English no matter what language you wrote in. Read more: Working with branches

Design systems from a private npm registry

August 5, 2026

Design system generation from an npm package now supports private registries, not just the public one. Add a registry URL and an access token, and optionally list the scopes that should resolve there so your other packages still come from the public registry. Base44 verifies the package before building your design system from it, and your token is used once and never stored. On the Builder plan and above. Read more: Design system

iOS permission strings ship in every supported language

August 5, 2026

Your iOS builds now include a permission purpose string for every permission your app requests, in all 25 supported languages rather than only your app's own language. This is the text Apple's automated review reads.

Elite 10 and Elite 11 now available through Wix billing

August 5, 2026

If your workspace bills through Wix, you can now purchase the Elite 10 and Elite 11 plans, matching what was already available through Stripe.

More schools now qualify for the academic discount

August 5, 2026

More university, college, and school email domains are now recognized for the academic discount, so students and staff at those institutions can verify with their own address.

Plan mode skips the design-mockup question for new web apps

August 4, 2026

When you start building a new web app, Plan mode's clarifying questions are now text-only, so the design-mockup image question no longer appears. Mobile and game creation, and plan iteration inside the editor, still ask it.

Resume a stuck Stripe activation

August 3, 2026

If your Stripe account gets stuck mid-activation, Base44 now shows what Stripe still needs from you, along with a Resume setup in Stripe button so you can pick up where you left off. Read more: Setting up payments

See overdue payment status on your dashboard

August 3, 2026

If your workspace has an overdue payment, the compose box on your home dashboard now shows that status right away, even while you still have credits left. Before, it only appeared once your credits also ran out.

Add a design system from a published npm package

August 3, 2026

On the Builder plan and above, you can now generate a design system from a published npm package, alongside Figma files and website URLs. Paste a package name, a name\@version, or an npmjs.com link, and Base44 builds your design system from it. Read more: Design system

Editors can now view workspace groups

August 3, 2026

On the Business plan and above, workspace editors get a read-only Groups tab showing the group list, roster, and membership. Viewers still see the tab disabled. Read more: Managing enterprise workspace members and groups

Your Superagent remembers what matters across conversations

August 2, 2026

Your Superagent now understands and keeps track of what matters to you, instead of just storing a long list of notes. Knowledge that updates itself: Important facts and preferences are saved automatically, categorized, and refreshed when they change or come up again. Working context per conversation: Each conversation keeps track of your goal, progress, decisions, blockers, and next steps. A memory log you can review: Browse daily summaries and past conversations any time. Full control: Add, edit, or delete what your Superagent remembers, and choose whether it is shared across conversations.

One security center for your whole workspace

August 2, 2026

Available for admins and owners on the Enterprise plan. A new Security Center gives you a single, portfolio-wide view of security across every app in your workspace, instead of checking apps one by one. Portfolio view: See risks found across RLS, secrets, backend functions, dependencies, static code, and headers, plus each app's scan and publish status. Search, filter, and export: Customize columns and export results to CSV. Take action directly: Run a security scan or unpublish an app, one at a time or in bulk, and transfer app ownership. Jump straight in: Open any app's Security page, preview, or dashboard from the same view.

Manage workspace roles with groups

August 2, 2026

Available on the Business plan and above. You can now assign a role to a group instead of to each member individually. Everyone in the group inherits that role, managed from a new Groups tab on the Members page. Custom groups: Create and manage groups directly in Base44, no SSO required. Identity provider groups: Sync groups from Okta, Entra, or Google through SCIM. They stay managed in your directory and read-only in Base44. Clear role resolution: If someone belongs to multiple groups, the highest role wins, and every change is logged.

Plan mode designs mockups from your own brief

August 2, 2026

The design directions Plan mode generates are now built from your own prompt and answers at higher resolution, instead of generic sample renders. You can respond, regenerate, or start building while they are still rendering.

Plan mode asks fewer, sharper questions

August 2, 2026

Plan mode now asks one or two compact cards of up to three questions each, scaled to what your brief actually left out, instead of five or more single-question rounds. A detailed brief can skip straight to the plan.

See GPT-5.6's reasoning in AI chat

August 1, 2026

The thinking panel in AI chat now shows written reasoning summaries for GPT-5.6 Terra and Sol turns.

Backend functions can import sibling and shared files

August 1, 2026

Backend functions that import a relative file, such as './helpers/x.js' or '../../shared/x.ts', used to fail silently: the deploy would fail and Base44 would show the imported file as missing, with no clear error pointing to the real cause. These imports now work correctly.

The workflows list now shows every workflow

August 1, 2026

The workflows page used to stop at 200 workflows. It now pages through all of them, up to 1000, in both the app editor's Workflows page and the Superagent Workflows tab.

Upload larger Figma files

August 1, 2026

The Figma upload limit has been raised to 300 MB, up from 100 MB, so larger brand files no longer get blocked.

Your Superagent can manage your Base44 apps directly

August 1, 2026

Your Superagent can now list and edit your Base44 apps, check build status, and call their backend functions, with no sandbox CLI authentication or device-code login required.

Entity version history now available on the Elite plan

August 1, 2026

Reading, downloading, and restoring previous versions of your entity data was previously Enterprise-only. It's now available on the Elite plan too, with 7 days of history (Enterprise keeps its existing 30 days).

Redirect rules can point to any external URL

August 1, 2026

Page-redirect rules for your custom domain can now target a full external address instead of only an internal path, so something like /ads.txt can point to an externally hosted feed.

Connect your app's MCP server from Gemini and Google Antigravity

August 1, 2026

Registering your app's MCP server from the Gemini web app or Google Antigravity no longer fails with an "automatic registration" error.

GLM 5.2 is now your Superagent's default model

August 1, 2026

Sonnet 4.6 has been retired from the model picker. If your agent was already set to it, that selection keeps working. New default: Agents using the default model now run on GLM 5.2 instead of Sonnet 4.6. Image and PDF turns still use Sonnet 5: Any turn where you share an image or PDF runs on Sonnet 5 regardless of your default model. Enterprise workspaces keep Sonnet 5 as their default: Workspaces on the Enterprise plan are not switched to GLM 5.2. They stay on Sonnet 5, including for the build-mode planner.
