Design systems from a private npm registry
By Steven Van ·
Private npm registries need a registry URL and access token, which Base44 verifies once and never stores, on Builder plans and above.
Base44's Base44 can now build a workspace design system from an npm package hosted on a private registry, not just the public one. Adding a registry URL and an access token pulls in the private package, and listing specific scopes lets other packages keep resolving from the public registry. Base44 verifies the package before generating the design system, and the token is used once and never stored. The feature is available on the Builder plan and above.
