Turn analytics off from the AI chat
By Steven Van ·
The toggle works from the AI chat for web apps and browser games on SDK 0.8.46 or newer, but native mobile apps are unaffected.
Base44 apps can now have analytics switched off by asking for it directly in the AI chat, rather than through a settings menu. The request goes app by app: you need to own the app, it needs SDK version 0.8.46 or newer, and the change only takes effect once you review it, publish, and the app rebuilds. Native mobile apps are unaffected, since they never collected analytics in the first place.
Turning analytics off does not empty the dashboard completely. Visit and live visitor counts, page and referrer data, and session duration all stop, but page views, login events, AI crawler traffic, and any custom events tracked separately keep coming through. Analytics can be switched back on the same way, from the Base44 AI chat.
