Decide what search engines can see

By Steven Van ·

Base44's SEO & GEO page gets per-page and whole-app indexing controls, plus switches for meta tags and structured data.

Base44 now lets you choose which pages search engines can index, on the Meta tags tab of the SEO & GEO page. The change was listed in the September 28 changelog for Base44.

  • Page by page: each page has a search visibility toggle, plus a column showing which pages are indexed. Turning a page off removes it from the sitemap and adds a noindex tag.
  • Whole app: the app can be hidden from search entirely, with a banner as a reminder that it is switched off.
  • Meta tags and structured data: there are switches for injecting both into your pages.
