Base44's AI chat picks up Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Opus 5, described in the September 5 changelog. In automatic mode, Sonnet 5 handles ongoing work, planning, and any turn that involves images, while Opus 5 takes the first message on plans that don't use cost-saving models.
An app that names an older Claude model in its code keeps working as before, and now shows that model's readable name instead of the code name.
