CapCut announced at CapCut World LA that a new CapCut plugin is coming soon to ChatGPT. It brings CapCut’s video editing and generation tools into ChatGPT, then lets you take the draft to CapCut’s web editor to refine, share and publish.

It handles talking heads and B-roll, editable motion graphics, captions in any style with translation, and generation of video, images, music, and sound effects including Seedance 2.5. Editing skills can be saved and reused, and projects export as XML to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut. Editing happens locally, so agents work on real timelines while you stay in control.
