Screen Studio can now scan every frame of a recording and automatically mask sensitive information such as email addresses, credit card numbers, and API keys. The team says analyzing a 20-second recording takes about six seconds on an M3 Mac. Face masking is coming soon.

Screen Studio 4.0 introduces a custom AI model for upscaling macOS screen recordings. The team trained it using screenshots from 5,000 randomly generated SwiftUI apps, downscaled to teach the model how to restore screen content.
