Google released "Google Pics", an AI image generation and editing tool built into Google Workspace that lets you create images from text prompts and make precise edits to individual objects within an image.
Google Pics is built on Google's Nano Banana image generation and editing model and works as both a standalone product and inside Workspace apps, starting with Slides, Docs, and Drive.
What is Nano Banana? Nano Banana is Google's name for its image generation and editing model, the same one behind image edits in the Gemini app and Google Photos.
With Google Pics, you can now:
Edit individual objects: Isolate an object and transform it without altering the rest of your image. You can add text comments on specific areas to request targeted changes and run multiple edits at once.
Edit or translate text inside images: Modify or translate text directly inside an image without disrupting the design or changing the font.
Generate multiple options: Pics generates several options from a single prompt, so you can pick your favorite from a variety of iterations.
Collaborate with your team: Invite teammates to collaborate, share images via a link, and create or open Pics images in Google Drive.
Edit without switching apps: Select an image in Google Docs or Slides, and a single click lets you edit it using Pics' full suite of tools without having to switch apps or tabs.
Pics is generally available for Workspace customers with Business Standard and higher plans, as well as Google AI Pro & Ultra subscribers.

What is tldraw? tldraw is a free, open-source whiteboard and drawing app. It also sells its canvas as a toolkit that companies like ClickUp and Padlet use to build their own whiteboard products.
With tldraw flash, you can:
Record motion by hand: Draw a shape, hit record, and drag it around the canvas to capture the movement as an animation.
Trim on a timeline: Adjust and cut clips on a timeline after recording.

🎞️ Unicorn Studio releases "Video Sequence"
Unicorn Studio released "Video Sequence," a new effect that converts a video into a sequence of still frames you can control with scroll position, mouse movement, or other events.
What is Unicorn Studio? Unicorn Studio is a visual tool for designing interactive motion and real-time graphics for websites, without writing the underlying code. Scenes can be embedded into sites built in Framer, Webflow, and similar tools.
With Video Sequence, you can now:
Scrub on scroll or mouse: Turn a video into an image sequence so you can control playback via scroll, mouse position, or other events.
Advance with± mouse proximity: A "Mouse Trail" mode advances the video based on how close the cursor is, which lets you simulate advanced interactive effects.
Stretch video across space: A "Time Stretch" mode projects the video in space over time, creating an ethereal 3D look.
You can adjust frame rate, duration, and quality. After changing those settings, you must hit the "Update Sequence" button.

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:
After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.
“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”
Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.
