PRODUCTIVITY
🧠 ChatGPT adds "Quizzes," reservation search, and Google Drive files

ChatGPT dropped four new features in one go, all aimed at making it more useful day to day.
You can now quiz yourself on any topic, search for restaurant reservations in plain language, and pull your Google Drive files straight into chats.
Note: Google Drive Library access and the new homepage suggestions are for paid ChatGPT users. Quizzes and reservation search are rolling out more broadly.

Here's what's new:
Quizzes: Type "Quiz me on [topic]" and ChatGPT generates an interactive quiz right in the chat (great for studying, trivia prep, or learning a new skill).
Reservation search: Describe what you want in plain language, like "a table for two next Saturday with a great outdoor patio," and ChatGPT finds matching reservations.
Google Drive in your Library: Paid users can add Drive files to their ChatGPT Library and ask questions about them. Just hit the + menu and "Add from Library."
Smarter suggestions: Paid users will see personalized suggestions on the ChatGPT home page, making it easier to discover what it can do. questions about them out loud.
ACQUSITIONS
💳 Stripe acquires “OpenRouter” for more than $7 billion

Stripe has reportedly finalized a deal to acquire “OpenRouter,” a startup that gives businesses one access point to hundreds of AI models, according to Bloomberg.
The price tag is more than 5x the $1.3 billion valuation OpenRouter raised at just three months ago.
What's OpenRouter? OpenRouter is like a universal remote for AI. Instead of signing up for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and every other AI lab separately, you get one account that connects to 400+ models, and it can automatically pick the cheapest or best one for each task.

Why it matters:
The gateway to AI: OpenRouter serves 8 million users and routes them to 400+ AI models, helping businesses avoid getting locked into one provider.
A massive markup: OpenRouter raised $113 million just three months ago at a $1.3 billion valuation. Stripe is paying over 5x that.
Stripe goes all-in on AI: The payments giant has been buying up AI infrastructure, and this deal puts it right between AI apps and the models that power them.
CODING
💻 Cursor releases "Origin"

Cursor can now host your code. Origin is a code hosting platform built directly into Cursor, with repos, pull requests, code browsing, and GitHub sync (so you can bring your existing projects with you).
What's code hosting? Code hosting is where your project's files live online, so you can back them up, track changes, and collaborate with others.
GitHub is the biggest name in the space. Origin is Cursor building that home base into the same app where you (and your AI agents) already write the code.

Here's what you get:
Origin repos: A new Codebase tab where you can create repos and push your projects, hosted by Cursor.
GitHub sync: Pull in your existing GitHub repos and they update in real time, with GitHub staying the source of truth.
Pull requests: Review changes, leave comments, and merge without leaving Cursor (comments sync both ways with GitHub).
Agents everywhere: Ask Cursor questions about any code you're browsing, and it can answer, make changes, or update PRs on the spot.
App integrations: Vercel, Buildkite, and Depot are already available, with preview deployments on every PR when Vercel is connected.
