ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
🌍 ChatGPT releases “GPT-6.1 Terra”
ChatGPT released “GPT-6.1 Terra,” a new model built to use your computer for you, quickly and at a lower price.
Terra understands what’s on your screen, takes action across apps, and writes in a clearer, more natural voice.
OpenAI pitches it as a model for your whole workday, from decoding technical drawings and drafting proposals to filling in forms and editing videos.
Note: GPT-6.1 Terra is rolling out now to Plus, Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users in ChatGPT Work and Codex. OpenAI hasn’t said whether Free users will get it.
With GPT-6.1 Terra, you can now:
Read visuals: Have it make sense of screenshots, diagrams, or technical drawings, then act on what it sees.
Hand off screen work: Let it fill in forms, move between apps, and finish the routine tasks you’d normally click through yourself.
Write more naturally: Draft proposals, briefs, and client emails that sound clearer and less robotic.
Turn images into projects: In OpenAI’s demo, Terra takes a photo of a tram and builds a detailed 3D model of it in a modeling app.
Do more for less: OpenRouter says it matches GPT-6 Astra on a top agent benchmark at one-tenth the price per token, and finishes tasks over 3x faster.
Terra is also coming to the API, so developers can build apps and agents that read images, navigate software, and take action. GitHub has already added it to Copilot.

🎬 Instagram releases “Features”
Instagram is testing “Features,” a new format for horizontal videos up to 90 minutes long, built for podcasts, comedy specials, and other long-form shows.
Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri announced the test with VP of Product Tessa Lyons. “For a long time, I have been against doing long-form video on Instagram,” Mosseri said.
Now the plan is to make short and long videos work together: your Reels act like trailers, and viewers can tap straight into the full episode.
What’s new:
Long, horizontal videos: Upload widescreen videos up to 90 minutes that can show up in the feed and on Explore.
Clips that drive to the full video: Link up to 8 short clips to a Feature, so each Reel sends viewers to the whole thing.
A home for Series: Group connected Reels into a Series hub on your profile, so fans can watch episodic content in order.
Lives in the Reels tab: Live videos now show up in Reels for easier discovery, starting in Indonesia and Brazil.
Watch on TV: Instagram for TV will prioritize Features and is expanding to Apple TV in the US.
Mosseri went deeper on the plan in an interview with Colin and Samir. This puts Instagram head-to-head with YouTube for long-form creators.
VIDEO EDITING
🎙️ Riverside releases “Agents”
Riverside released “Riverside Agents,” an AI production team for video, with four agents that prep, edit, clip, and publish your content.
CEO Nadav Keyson calls it the first AI production team built only for video. Each agent handles one job, and you call the shots.
Note: Riverside Agents are rolling out on web and iOS on every Riverside plan, with a 14-day free trial. What they can do depends on your plan, and AI features like video enhancement still use credits.
How it works:
Producer: Preps your session, suggests questions for your guest, and checks your mic, speakers, connection, and storage before you hit record.
Editor: Builds an editing plan for the full episode, then works through it with you, adding captions, motion graphics, and your brand kit.
Clipper: Finds the moments worth sharing and cuts them into short clips for social.
Marketer: Writes captions and show notes, then publishes or schedules your posts once you approve.
You can still jump into Riverside’s editor to make last-mile edits yourself, and nothing publishes without your approval.

Finally, a Monday that doesn’t feel like one.
Imagine a Saturday where you're not catching up on the CRM you didn't touch all week.
HubSpot's new self-updating CRM doesn't wait for you to log back in. Friday's calls are already logged. The deal that needs a nudge Monday morning is already flagged. The automation you set up once keeps running without you thinking about it. None of it needed you over the weekend.
Customers are already seeing it pay off: 45% more deals closed. Finally, you start Monday caught up, not behind.
