What is SendGrid?
SendGrid provides email delivery infrastructure through Twilio’s Email API product. Developers connect it to their application to send email at the volume their plan supports. The provider also offers Marketing Campaigns as a separate product.
Email API plans include a monthly message allowance and can support paid overages. Each recipient counts as a message, so a multi-recipient send consumes more than one unit. The advertised free sending offer is a time-limited trial rather than an ongoing free plan.
