ChatCut launched a desktop app: an AI video editor built for humans and AI agents to edit together. Describe edits in plain English and watch them happen on a real, fully editable timeline, or connect Codex or Claude Code in one click and work through an editing backlog. It handles talking heads and B-roll, editable motion graphics, captions in any style with translation, and generation of video, images, music, and sound effects including Seedance 2.5. Editing skills can be saved and reused, and projects export as XML to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut. Editing happens locally, so agents work on real timelines while you stay in control.
