Screen Movie is a native macOS app that combines screen recording with the editing needed to turn a raw capture into a product video. Record the screen or grab screenshots, then edit in the same app: animate text, images, and captions, add music, and export at 4K. It is built for the demo-and-launch-video workflow, where the recording is only the starting point and most of the work is the motion and captions layered on top.
Sold as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, and requires macOS 15 or later. The app is not out yet — the site currently reads 'Launch soon.'
