About OpenBot

OpenBot, at getopenbot.com, is a chat with a chief of staff that plans a goal and assigns it to other agents. OpenBot says those agents include Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, plus tools for the web, email, billing, and hosting. You describe the task in plain words, or you can message an agent directly.

Each task keeps a plan, and its steps move from pending to in progress to done. Each agent OpenBot asks gets a row: Working, Waiting for you, Done, or Failed. When an agent needs a decision, the task waits under Needs you.

The November 8, 2026 launch video types "Ship the new pricing page by Friday." OpenBot replies, "On it. I've asked three agents and will report back here." The thread then shows Claude Code "Writing the pricing page," Stagehand "Checking the checkout flow," and Resend "Drafted the launch email." Those are the status lines in the video. The clip crosses out the words "MADE-UP HELPERS," then shows a card marked "Running in the cloud" while you are marked away.

OpenBot says the agents work on a cloud computer for the workspace, grouped into Spaces such as website or checkout. A Space can have its own folder, with files, code, changes, variables, and a terminal. OpenBot says the computer can keep working after you log off, and that you review a result before it ships.

Workspace owners can invite teammates, up to 3 members. The agents page lists 20 agents you can install: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Firecrawl, Fish Audio, Stitch, Motion, Stagehand, OpenCode, Pi, Notion, Apollo, Linear, Slack, GitHub, Resend, Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare, and Hostinger. Stitch is described there as Google Stitch for UI screens.

Motion is described as AI video. Fish Audio is described as voices, speech, and transcription. Short labels in the launch video, such as Codex taking on coding tasks or Apollo finding people to reach, are OpenBot's own wording.

Free is $0: one cloud computer with 1 CPU, 2 GB of memory, 5 GB of storage, and 500 credits a month. Cloud is $60 a month: 4 CPUs, 8 GB of memory, 20 GB of storage, 2,000 credits a month, up to 3 team members, and no API keys required. Credits pay for the models the agents run and reset every month.

If you run out, top-ups start at 1,000 credits, at $1.20 per 100 credits. Top-ups are one-time purchases. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Free needs no subscription. Cloud renews monthly until you cancel, and canceling keeps Free. The pricing page and the terms, privacy, and refund pages say they were last updated on August 30, 2026.

The footer links to github.com. That README describes a local-first harness you start with npm i -g openbot, and says the MIT license applies through release v0.5.3, with newer work not published in the repository. That repository is not the source of the cloud app on getopenbot.com.
