Open-source AI agent from Nous Research that lives in your terminal and desktop — persistent memory, scheduling, subagents, and sandboxed execution.

About Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is Nous Research's open-source agent, shipped both as a terminal app and as native desktop applications for macOS, Windows, and Linux. It is built around persistence: memory carries what worked in past sessions into new ones, natural-language scheduling automates recurring work, and subagents take on delegated tasks in parallel. Hermes reaches you across Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, email, and the CLI rather than living in a single window, and it can browse the web with vision and generate images.

Execution is sandboxed, with a choice of local, Docker, SSH, Singularity, or Modal backends. The code is MIT licensed; usage is free to start, with Plus, Super, and Ultra tiers adding monthly credits across 300+ models.
