Gemini Notebook's mobile audio recorder, announced for rollout starting the week after September 15, is now available on iPhone, iPad and Android. You can record up to one hour and use the transcript as a notebook source.
Tap the microphone at the bottom of a new notebook, or open Sources in an existing one. Recording can continue in the background or while your phone is locked, and you can pause or resume it. The app keeps the transcript rather than the original audio.
NotebookLM now lets you edit the plan for a Slide Deck or Video Overview before generating it.
Choose a suggested focus topic from your sources or enter your own, then pick the format, length, language and visual style. You can review and edit the slide outline or video producer notes before generating the final result.
The feature is available to Pro and Ultra subscribers.
