Taxes now recalculate when you change an order's shipping address
Update: Tax rates vary by destination.
Editing an order's shipping address in Shopify now recalculates taxes for the new destination, since tax rates vary by where an order ships. Previously the original destination's tax stayed on the order after the address changed, which could leave financials and tax reporting out of sync.
A preview of the updated amounts shows before saving, and if the change creates a payment difference, that's shown before saving too, so an invoice can be sent to the customer if needed. More detail is in the original announcement.
