Improvements This update introduces a new migration assistant for Obsidian Sync.
Obsidian's 1.9.11 desktop update adds a migration assistant for Sync vaults. It currently handles encryption upgrades, with support for switching regions planned for later. When an encryption upgrade is available, an "Upgrade vault encryption" option appears in Settings → Sync.
The release also fixes several bugs:
- Bases: a view no longer fails to refresh after renaming the currently active view
- Bases: file.tags.contains() now matches parent tags, so searching for "a" finds files tagged "a/b"
- Properties: the context menu no longer immediately hides after right-clicking in Local Properties view
