Obsidian 1.9.10 Mobile (Public)
By Steven Van ·
Includes all new functionality and bug fixes up to Obsidian Desktop v1.9.10.
Obsidian's 1.9.10 mobile update brings the desktop app's recent fixes to iOS and Android, along with several mobile-specific changes.
- The app now resizes smoothly when the on-screen keyboard appears or disappears, and adapts better to landscape mode.
- Two-finger swipe to move through tab history is more responsive; on iOS it's disabled while the keyboard is active so it doesn't clash with the system's cursor-movement gesture.
- You can reset your Obsidian account password from the initial onboarding flow.
- Pressing and holding a file name in the Search view now opens its context menu, and search inputs auto-focus when an external keyboard is attached.
- The "Follow link" tooltip in source mode opens links more reliably and shows and hides more consistently.
- Notices can be dismissed with a swipe down.
- Canvas nodes get a 'Duplicate' option in their context menu, and the default toolbar now shows undo and redo at the start of the row.
- On Android, the app is now edge-to-edge so the status and navigation bars fit with the rest of the interface, the 'back' button minimizes the app instead of quitting it, and a crash on font selection for Android 9 and earlier is fixed.
- On iOS, the app icon adapts to home screen appearance, Ctrl-Tab and Shift-Ctrl-Tab switch tabs on iPad, and toolbar placement is fixed for Stage Manager and the floating keyboard.
