Obsidian 1.8.8 Desktop (Early access)

Improvements Updated translations. Improved app performance when a tree view (e.g. File explorer) is displaying a large number of items.
Obsidian's 1.8.8 desktop update is in early access and fixes a regression, dating back to Electron 33, that had been making large vaults take significantly longer to load and save their cache.
Improvements
- Tree views such as the file explorer perform better when displaying a large number of items.
- List auto-numbering now preserves custom starting numbers.
- Obsidian Sync warns before connecting to a remote vault that's already managed by a third-party sync service, since that could cause conflicts.
- With "Smart indent lists" disabled, the editor no longer automatically renumbers lists.
Fixes
- Live preview correctly renders "- - -" as a horizontal rule.
- Notes with corrupted fold information can now be opened.
- Tables inside embeds render full width.
- Checklist items inside loose lists are indented correctly.
- Clicking inside a PDF view now focuses the view.
- Folding a list item in reading mode now persists when switching to edit mode.
- Creating a new vault via "Quick start" now opens welcome.md.
