Obsidian 1.8.7 Mobile (Public)

Obsidian's 1.8.7 mobile update, released February 18 2025, brings the app up to date with Desktop v1.8.7 and fixes several Android and iOS bugs.

• Android onboarding now lets users choose an existing folder as a vault, fixing what the changelog calls a broken Android flow.
• File Recovery and Sync no longer crash on iOS when Lockdown Mode is on.
• The "Toggle left sidebar" and "Toggle right sidebar" commands now work on phones.
• Sidebar pinning is available on tablets again, fixing a regression.
• Pressing and holding on a result in Global Search or Backlinks now shows the menu again.
