Improvements Improved the "Insert horizontal rule" command to behave more intuitively when used on a non-empty line.

Obsidian 1.8.6 for desktop is out in early access, with two interface tweaks and a long list of fixes, detailed in the changelog.

The "Insert horizontal rule" command now behaves more intuitively when used on a non-empty line.
The title bar is now visible while the app is loading, so the window can be dragged, and minimized, maximized, or closed on Windows and Linux, before startup finishes.
Dragging and dropping files into a property field no longer brings back old values.
Web viewer: "Save to vault" no longer fails without an error, right-clicking the history navigation buttons no longer triggers navigation, and page previews opened from a pop-out window no longer hide immediately.
Settings: the attachment folder field now shows the selected folder name, and vaults with pop-out windows now reopen correctly when Obsidian relaunches.
Outline: fixed scroll position issues when "Auto-reveal current section" is on and headings are clicked rapidly, and fixed the Option-Shift-M hotkey.
Reading mode now properly folds headings when opening a file, and a folding API regression that broke some plugins is fixed.
Opening a file in a new split or new window now focuses the editor.
