Obsidian's 1.8.10 mobile release lets Android users skip the "All files" permission, though vaults are then limited to app storage rather than shared device storage. The onboarding flow has also been clarified to show that Sync is optional and to make creating a vault more direct, and Shared Sync vaults now appear correctly in the vault list during onboarding.
- A small feedback banner may appear at the top of settings for users with significant app usage; dismissing it stops it from appearing again.
- Fixed a bug where obsidian:// URIs failed to fire their action if the app had been previously closed.
- The navigation bar now appears immediately when the keyboard closes.
- On Android, closing the keyboard keeps the editor focused, fixing keyboard functions like voice-to-text.
