Obsidian 1.8.10 Mobile (Early access)
By Steven Van ·
Improvements On Android, you can now store vaults inside the app private storage which does not require "All files" permission.
Obsidian's early access mobile build 1.8.10 lets Android users store vaults inside the app's private storage, which does not require the "All files" permission. The onboarding flow has also been reworked to make clear that Sync is optional and to make it easier to jump straight into vault creation, and Shared Sync vaults now appear in the list of existing vaults during onboarding.
- A small feedback banner may appear at the top of settings for users with significant app usage; once dismissed it will not ask again.
- Fixed a bug where obsidian:// URIs would not fire their action if the app had previously been closed.
- The navigation bar now shows up immediately when the keyboard is retracting, instead of waiting for it to finish.
- On Android, using physical keyboards and voice-to-text input no longer loses focus.
