Obsidian 1.14.1 Mobile (Early access)
The early-access build adds an iOS 26 Quick Capture widget, Location shortcuts, and system text-size scaling, plus RTL and iPad fixes.
Obsidian's 1.14.1 mobile release is in early access, carrying over all the features and fixes from Desktop 1.14.1 alongside changes specific to iOS and iPad.
- On iOS 26, a configurable Quick Capture Home Screen widget lets you add shortcuts that capture directly to different Locations.
- Text and interface elements now scale with the system's preferred text size, including larger accessibility sizes.
- Quick Capture widgets on the Lock Screen and in Control Center can be configured to open a specific Location, and the Quick Capture action in Shortcuts now takes a Location parameter.
- Quick Capture templates support a new {{openStreetMapLink}} variable that inserts an OpenStreetMap link to the current position.
- The Quick Capture Live Activity in the expanded Dynamic Island has an improved layout.
The 1.14.1 mobile build also fixes back and forward swipe gestures that were reversed in right-to-left languages, and corrects app and status bar sizing on iPad when resizing windows in Split View or Stage Manager. Developers can use the new --font-preferred-size CSS variable for text that should respect the system's preferred text size.
