Obsidian 1.14.0 Mobile (Early access)
Includes all new features and bug fixes up to Obsidian Desktop v1.14.0. Improvements Settings are now shown in a dismissable sheet over the app.
Obsidian's mobile app reaches 1.14.0 in early access, carrying over everything shipped in the desktop release alongside changes specific to iOS and Android.
- Settings now open in a dismissable sheet over the app; swipe anywhere to dismiss it.
- On iOS 26, Quick Capture works natively from the Lock Screen, Control Center, or Shortcuts, without waiting for the vault to load, and stays reachable through a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while editing.
- Quick Capture adds Locations, so a capture can go to a new note, today's daily note, a bookmarked note, or any note chosen.
- Quick Capture templates now support variables, including one for the current position.
- The Share Sheet now uses the vault's accent color.
- On Android, the Open Note widget shows the note's name.
- The "Insert attachment" toolbar button can now take a photo directly.
- Fixes: the Configure toolbar button opens mobile toolbar settings directly instead of "Interface", hotkeys settings no longer overflow the page horizontally, and the command palette's close animation works again.
- For right-to-left languages, the settings swipe-back gesture and page animations are now flipped.
Full details are in the changelog entry.
