Obsidian 1.13.6 Desktop (Early access)

By Steven Van ·

Improvements Sliders in settings now use the accent color.

Obsidian's 1.13.6 desktop early access build removes the dialog that asked users to approve URI actions, which the changelog says was creating more confusion for non-technical users than it solved. It follows other guardrails added in 1.13, such as Mermaid diagrams being off by default. Sliders in settings now use the accent colour.

  • Fixed a bug where pressing the back button on a settings page would not always focus the setting item that opened the page.
  • Fixed images not opening full screen in Live Preview if they contain a URL hash suffix (#).
  • Fixed a memory leak in Live Preview caused by reordering rows or columns in a Markdown table.
  • Restored the old behaviour of embedded YouTube and Twitter links in Live Preview: they no longer have a selection state or an overlaid edit button.

Full details are in the changelog.
