Obsidian 1.13.5 Desktop (Early access)

By Steven Van ·

Improvements The app now waits for configuration files to finish saving when quitting to avoid the file getting corrupted.

Obsidian's early access desktop build 1.13.5 focuses on stability and settings navigation, with a handful of editor fixes.

  • The app now waits for configuration files to finish saving before quitting, to avoid corrupting them.
  • "Undo close tab" now reopens tabs in the correct tab group and no longer reuses an active "New tab" page.
  • The settings window closes on Escape, and Tab/Shift-Tab now move focus between elements instead of staying locked to the current row.
  • When Obsidian is fullscreen, the settings window opens on top of the app instead of creating a second fullscreen window.
  • Fixes include link suggestions in the property editor, the window not focusing when opened via a vault URI, zoom level resetting after a reload, and vaults on network drives not working.

Full details are in the changelog.
