Obsidian 1.13.1 Desktop (Early access)
By Steven Van ·
Improvements Settings Sliders now show a permanent label with the current value, shown inline next to the slider instead of in a tooltip.
Obsidian 1.13.1 is out in early access for desktop, with a reworked settings experience. Sliders now show a permanent inline label with their current value instead of a tooltip, navigating back restores focus to the setting you came from, and the mouse "back" button now works to step through settings history. Alt-ArrowUp and Alt-ArrowDown reorder items inside setting lists.
- Mermaid diagrams now render immediately after being allowed in a vault, without a reload.
- The Settings Search plugin is deprecated, as its functionality now overlaps with the new built-in search. Obsidian credits its author, javalent, on the credits page.
- Fixed a silent crash on installers older than 1.6, and added an error message if it happens again.
- Fixed choppy horizontal scrolling when sidebar tabs overflow, and several Live Preview and Bookmarks bugs.
Full details are in the changelog.
