Obsidian 1.12.0 is available now for desktop users on the early access channel. The note-taking app's release adds a command line interface alongside several smaller editing improvements.
- A new command line interface lets you control Obsidian from a terminal, for scripting, automation, and integration with external tools.
- Bases gets a search toolbar button to filter query results.
- Deleting a file now prompts to also delete its attachments, with a setting in Files & Links to set this to "Always", "Ask every time", or "Never".
- Images in Live Preview can be resized by dragging a corner, and reset by double-clicking it.
Canvas files now have their backlinks detected, so they show up in the backlinks view and are counted as links in graph view. The "Change vault..." command has been renamed to "Manage vaults", with a new "Change vault..." command added for switching vaults by keyboard.
