Notion 3.7: Agent skills for your whole team

Notion 3.7 lets teams package their AI prompting know-how into shared skills, exportable to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and more.

Notion 3.7 introduces skills: reusable instructions that teach the AI in Notion how a specific team works, so know-how that used to live in one person's head can be turned into something the whole team can run. A skill might generate a monthly business review in the team's format, or critique a doc the way a manager would.

  • Skills live in a shared library, organised as a database, so a team has one place to find its skills and everyone works from the latest version. They can be created from scratch by chatting with Notion Agent, or Notion can suggest skills based on work already being done. To use one, type / in an Agent chat and pick it, or set it to run automatically.
  • Skills built in Notion can be downloaded as a SKILL.md file to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, or Grok, with a badge marking when the Notion version has since been updated.
  • Notion Agent can now connect to GitHub, Amplitude, and other tools via a Custom MCP connection, asking for confirmation before it changes anything in a connected tool. This is in beta on Business and Enterprise plans.
  • A Custom Agent can call other Custom Agents as sub-agents, each with its own instructions, context, access, and model, and decide when to delegate work to them.
  • Custom Agents can also pick up post-meeting work automatically once a call's summary is ready, writing the status update, filing action items, or logging customer feedback to a database. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.
  • A redesigned model picker gives access to models including Opus 5, GPT-5.6 Sol, and Kimi K3, with indicators for speed, intelligence, and cost, alongside a new Notion Knowledge Board that compares model performance on everyday work.
  • The Notion Agents iOS app is now available, letting people capture ideas by voice or photo and hand tasks to an agent while away from their desk.
