Notion 3.1

By Steven Van ·

Notion 3.1: Lots of Agent updates, new Meetings tab, more AI Connectors, and map view!

Notion 3.1 gives meeting notes a dedicated home and expands what the Notion Agent can see and act on, plus a new map view for databases. Full release notes.

  • A new Meetings tab in the sidebar collects notes from every meeting you've run or joined, syncing with your calendar. Typing /meet on any page starts a meeting note, and AI Meeting Notes transcribes the call.
  • AI Meeting Notes summaries now link each takeaway to the exact moment in the transcript it came from.
  • The Notion Agent can read page comments and version history, so it can summarize feedback or make edits directly from a comment, such as "implement Holly's feedback." It can also turn an uploaded CSV into a database or analyze one to answer questions.
  • Notion AI can search Google and Notion Calendars, so the Agent can help with schedule questions like meeting prep or "when did I last meet with Steven and what were the action items?"
  • The Slack AI Connector now covers private channels and direct messages, respecting existing Slack permissions.
  • A new map view and place property let databases track and display addresses or locations.

Notion also says pages are loading 15% faster on desktop and mobile.
