Notion 2.48: Set up Notion in one click, Calendar updates, and more.
Notion's 2.48 release lets AI build page setups from a plain description, alongside a batch of smaller updates to automations, sharing and forms.
- Typing /database and selecting Build with AI lets people describe what they need and have AI create the setup, instead of building it manually.
- New pre-built database templates, including Task Trackers, Meeting Notes and Brainstorm Sessions, are available from the More templates option when creating a database.
- Database automations can now run on a recurring schedule, for things like weekly reminders or auto-generating a weekly status doc for projects marked In Progress.
- The Share menu now shows who has access to a doc and what type of access they have.
- Forms can restrict respondents to viewing only their own submissions, rather than the whole response database.
- Notion Calendar scheduling links can now have an expiration date and a limit on how far ahead people can book a meeting.
The release also adds error-fixing tips for automations, settings search from the ••• menu, a cap on how many options respondents can pick in multi-select form questions, swipe actions for notifications in the Android app's inbox, and the option to set a button to insert a new block at the top or bottom of a page.
