Notion 2.43: Suggested edits are here + new Notion AI features
Notion doc collaboration now supports suggested edits: any collaborator can propose a change, and the owner or a teammate can accept or reject it with one click. Suggested edits and comments are grouped into threads in a redesigned Inbox, which stays open as you move between pages to resolve them.
Notion AI also picks up several additions in this release, described in the July 29 changelog:
- One-click AI skills to brainstorm ideas, make a diagram, summarize notes, or translate content, without writing a prompt.
- A single AI tool for chat and search, pulling from Notion, Slack, and models like GPT-4, in a full-page chat window.
- A global keyboard shortcut (⌘+shift+J on Mac, ctrl+shift+J on Windows) to open Notion AI from other apps when the desktop app is installed.
A new Asana importer lets teams pick specific projects to bring in as Notion databases. Other changes include a faster, more customizable Jira Sync integration, a Notion Calendar app for Android, the ability to add a note when RSVPing to a Calendar event, a redesigned database ••• menu with a Customize option and suggested properties, and a redesigned in-app template gallery covering more than 20,000 templates.
