Notion 2.40: Home with calendar, navigate content, and organize your sidebar

Find your most important notes, events, and to-dos. We also added features to help you navigate long content and organize your sidebar.
Notion's latest release adds a Home tab that pulls together recent docs, calendar events and to-dos, plus several changes to navigation and sidebar organisation.
- On desktop, Home now shows events from Notion Calendar alongside related docs and a link to join the next meeting.
- The Private and Shared sidebar sections get a dedicated panel for organising, sorting and searching pages, which also limits how many pages are shown so you don't have to scroll endlessly.
- Pages with headings now show a floating table of contents when you hover the right side of the screen, for jumping to a section.
- Pasting a URL and choosing "Paste as mention" turns it into a short preview with a favicon, author and page title.
- Notion Calendar adds focus time and out-of-office events.
- The desktop app can pin frequently used pages to the top left of the app via right click on an open tab. Database views grouped by select, status, multi-select, person or relation properties load faster, and anyone viewing a locked database can now use advanced filters.
