Notion has rebuilt its project management tools, adding AI to the mix along with a batch of features aimed at closing gaps in team workflows. The update includes:
- AI Autofill, which generates summaries, action items and project updates automatically
- A streamlined, out-of-the-box setup for creating new projects
- Notifications for task and project details
- Sprint plans, a pre-configured sprint workflow now in beta
- Unique IDs for every issue, so any task can be referenced from anywhere
- Real-time GitHub integration, so Notion tasks update automatically when a linked PR's status changes
- An Asana importer that brings over teams, projects, tasks and other fields
