New SIEM event for the AI meeting notes consent setting

By Steven Van ·

Notion's SIEM and DLP stream now logs admin changes to the AI meeting notes consent requirement, with the final state sent as enabled or disabled.

Notion admins who stream audit data to a SIEM or DLP tool now get an event when the AI meeting notes consent requirement changes. Notion added workspace.settings.meeting_notes_consent_setting_updated, which fires when an admin changes whether the workspace requires consent before AI meeting notes transcription. The payload carries the final state, either enabled or disabled.

It is separate from the existing page.meeting_notes.consent.confirmed entry, which records a person confirming consent in a meeting. The new event records a change to the requirement, not an instance of consent.
