Delete pages and databases in Notion MCP
By Steven Van ·
Each tool handles up to 20 items per call, requires user confirmation and needs the update content capability.
Two new tools in Notion MCP move content to Trash after the user confirms the deletion.
Delete pages or databases in batches
notion-delete-pages moves up to 20 pages to Trash. notion-delete-databases moves up to 20 databases, including their rows. Both tools require the update content capability, and locked pages and databases cannot be moved to Trash.
Undo a deletion
To undo a deletion, use notion-restore-pages or restore the item from Trash in Notion. The Supported tools documentation lists the MCP tools.
