Create teamspace root pages with Notion MCP

By Steven Van ·

Creating top-level pages requires a user-backed connection with permission to add them.

Pages created through Notion MCP can now sit directly at the top level of a teamspace.

Set the teamspace as the parent

The notion-create-pages tool now accepts parent.teamspace_id to create a page directly in that teamspace. This requires a user-backed connection with permission to add top-level pages.

The announcement points to the Teamspace root pages documentation for details and an example.
