Motion UI 4.0.2 fixes three Gallery bugs affecting the detail strip, paging after a switch to grid, and item sizing as items fade out.
Motion UI 4.0.2 is a patch release for Motion Studio that fixes three Gallery bugs, as listed in the Motion changelog. It was published on 13 October 2026.
Gallery fixes
- Closing the detail view now fades the whole strip out together. Thumbnails with no place in view to return to no longer linger.
- Paging on straight after switching to grid no longer hides the item paged to.
- Switching away from grid no longer resizes items to the next arrangement's item size while they fade out.
