Motion 13.5.1 restores an internal scroll API for 13.x compatibility and fixes bugs in styleEffect, svgEffect and inherit={false}.
Motion 13.5.1 is a patch release with one fallback change and several fixes, including a restored internal API that some 13.x code still depends on. It is the library behind Motion Studio, and the changelog entry lists these changes:
Changed
- readSVGValue now falls back to the attribute when computed style is empty.
- Internal changes to animateChanges for size reductions.
Fixed
- scroll: the removal of the internal observeTimeline API is temporarily reverted, which fixes compatibility with previous 13.x APIs. Motion is moving to pinned dependencies before removing it in 14.x.
- styleEffect: cleaning up an earlier value no longer removes a value that was bound to the same key after it.
- svgEffect: transforms and origins are no longer written as attributes.
- motion: inherit={false} now correctly does not inherit parent animations.
- motion: sortNodePosition no longer throws when a sibling hasn't mounted.
