How to Move a Webflow or Framer Site to WordPress with Elementor (2026)
By Steven Van ·
A step-by-step guide covers exporting live Webflow and Framer pages as Elementor templates, plus moving CMS content and keeping search rankings.
MiroMiro's guide to moving a Webflow or Framer site to WordPress splits the job into design, content and plumbing, and says most of the effort sits in the design. Neither platform has a "Send to WordPress" button, so the guide lays out a page-by-page route.
Exporting the design as an Elementor template
As an alternative to rebuilding each page by hand in Elementor, MiroMiro reads the published page as the browser renders it (layout, computed styles, fonts, colors, images and responsive rules) and downloads it as an Elementor .json template. It reads the live site, so it works on both Framer and Webflow pages without the platform's own export.
- Open the live page with the MiroMiro extension.
- Choose Export full page, or click Export and pick a single section.
- Choose Download, then Elementor template.
- In WordPress, go to Templates, Saved Templates, Import Templates, then insert it on the new page from My Templates.
Each export arrives as one HTML block inside Elementor, not as separate native widgets. Text, links and images can be edited inside the block. Sections that need drag-and-drop editing later can be rebuilt natively, using the export as a reference.
Content and rankings
- Inventory: list every page and URL first, using /sitemap.xml, and mark static pages versus CMS-driven ones.
- Webflow CMS: export each collection as CSV and import it with a WordPress CSV import plugin, mapping title, slug, body and image.
- Framer CMS: copy content out manually or via CSV if the setup allows, then import the same way.
- Images: exported templates load images from the original site's URLs, so download them (the asset extractor grabs every image on a page), upload them to the Media Library and swap them in before cancelling the old plan.
- Rankings: keep URLs identical where possible, add 301 redirects for any that change, copy titles and meta descriptions, switch DNS, then re-submit the sitemap in Google Search Console and watch the Pages report for a couple of weeks.
- Mobile: check key pages at phone width before switching the domain. Exported templates carry the original responsive rules, but hand-rebuilt sections need their breakpoints checked.
