📣 Lovable releases “Growth Tools”

A Lovable chat where a taco truck owner asks about running ads, connects Meta for Business and Google Ads, and Lovable suggests a campaign

Lovable released “Growth Tools,” so the AI app builder can now help you find customers and run ads, right from the same chat where you build your app.

Tell Lovable a goal, like “My first 100 signups” or “More bookings this month,” and it builds a growth plan from your app, your audience, and your current traffic.

Sometimes that plan is an ad campaign. For a brand-new app, it often starts with the basics, like getting found in Google and AI search or sharpening the offer on your landing page.

The best part: Lovable can create and launch campaigns on Google Search, YouTube, Maps, Facebook, and Instagram, and it sets up the tracking for you.

Note: Growth Tools are live now on Lovable’s Free, Pro, and Business plans. Lovable adds no extra fees, but planning and making creative use regular credits, and Google or Meta bill your ad spend directly.

With Lovable Growth Tools, you can now:

  • Launch ads from chat: Connect or create a Google Ads or Meta ad account, and Lovable adds the Google tag or Meta Pixel to your app.

  • Make ad creative: Generate images, launch videos, animated product demos, video ads, and ad copy that match your brand.

  • Stay in control: Review the daily budget, locations, languages, and goals before any campaign goes live.

  • Get found in search: Use built-in Semrush for SEO, and get drafted posts for the communities and directories where your audience hangs out.

New Google Ads advertisers may also qualify for ad credits to jumpstart their first campaign. As CEO Anton Osika put it on X: “The distribution game is hard.”

CODING
🤝 Replit acquires “Chroma”

Replit is bringing on “Chroma,” the team behind the popular open-source vector database ChromaDB, after Chroma signed a definitive agreement to join the company.

What’s a vector database? It’s the memory layer that lets AI apps and agents search your docs and data by meaning, not just by keyword.

Chroma says ChromaDB gets about 6 million downloads a month. Its newer product, Foundation, keeps a company’s knowledge up to date for its agents.

Together, they plan to build the context layer for the “self-driving company,” where agents do more of the work because they already know what your organization knows.

Note: Hosted Chroma Cloud is winding down over the next 60 days, and Chroma has shared a timeline for affected customers. Open-source Chroma stays under the Apache 2.0 license. No deal terms were shared.

Replit President Michele Catasta and CEO Amjad Masad with Chroma CEO Jeff Huber.

What this means for you:

  • ChromaDB stays free: The open-source database keeps its Apache 2.0 license, with extra code moved in from Chroma’s private repos.

  • Smarter Replit agents: Chroma’s tech is set to help Replit’s agents use what your company already knows as context.

  • Foundation continues: Chroma’s enterprise context product is moving to Replit too.

  • Cloud users need a plan: If you host on Chroma Cloud, you have about 60 days to move.

Replit’s president Michele Catasta and CEO Amjad Masad were both early Chroma investors.

PRODUCTIVITY
📊 Meta acquires “Sundial”

Meta has acquired “Sundial,” the AI data analytics company co-founded by Julie Zhuo and Chandra Narayanan.

Sundial built an agentic analyst: an AI that cleans your data, builds a semantic layer, and answers questions right inside tools like Slack.

What’s a semantic layer? It’s a shared map that tells the AI what your metrics mean, so a number like “revenue” is counted the same way in every answer.

Customers named on Sundial’s site include OpenAI, Character, and Gamma. Zhuo says the company started nearly six years ago and was rebuilt to be AI-native.

Note: Axios reports that a Meta spokesperson confirmed the deal, and that Sundial will stop serving outside customers once it closes. No price or closing date was shared.

What this means for you:

  • Founders join Meta: Zhuo and Narayanan are joining Meta, along with part of the Sundial team.

  • Folded into Meta: Axios says Sundial will become part of Meta’s data analytics organization.

  • A new role: Narayanan will lead Meta’s data analytics tooling and agents, per Axios.

  • Customers must switch: Current Sundial users will need a new analytics tool once the deal closes.

BUSINESS

A CRM so smart, it updates itself.

HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.

Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.

This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
