invideo's Agent Two splits video creation across specialist agents
By Steven Van ·
Expert Agents adds coordinating roles like director and DOP that work in parallel on the same project.
invideo launched Expert Agents on Agent Two, its AI video platform, restructuring how a single agent handles a creative project by splitting the work across a specialized crew instead. Name a role, creative director, DOP, storyboard artist, and more, and Expert Agents fills it with an agent trained specifically on that domain's expertise.
Agents that talk to each other
The distinguishing detail is coordination: these agents talk to each other independently, in parallel, rather than each one waiting on a user to relay information between them. invideo frames this as the real shift, you're no longer briefing each agent one by one, you're running a crew, the same way a creative team actually works on a real production set, with a DOP and a director communicating directly rather than a single point person routing every decision.
Why role specialization beats one general agent
A single general-purpose creative agent has to be reasonably good at everything, direction, cinematography, storyboarding, and shot composition, all at once. Splitting those into named, trained roles lets each agent specialize deeply in one discipline, closer to how film production actually staffs a crew rather than asking one generalist to wear every hat. For output quality, that specialization is likely to show up most in the details generalist models tend to flatten, camera language, shot pacing, and visual storytelling structure.
Built on a faster, cheaper base model
Expert Agents run on Agent Two, which invideo describes as frontier intelligence for creative work at 4x the speed and half the price of what came before. A faster, cheaper base model matters more once you're running multiple coordinating agents per project rather than one, since the same request now fans out into several agent calls working in parallel.
