Match your Messenger font to your brand

By Steven Van ·

Seven fonts are available for the web Messenger on the default brand, and it falls back to the system font if the chosen one fails to load.

Intercom's web Messenger can now use a font other than the system font. The choices are Inter, Poppins, Montserrat, Roboto, Open Sans, Lato and Noto Sans, so the Messenger can match sites with distinctive typography. The change is listed in the Intercom changelog.

Where the font applies

The selected font is used across the whole Messenger: Home, conversations and help content. If the font can't load, the Messenger falls back to the system font automatically.

Availability and setup

The option is available for the web Messenger on your default brand. To change it, go to Settings > Channels > Messenger > Widget > Appearance.
