Google renames NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook

The app and its features are unchanged for now, but Google Search access and folders are coming soon.
NotebookLM is now Gemini Notebook. Google says the rename reflects the tool's growth from a passive workspace into a research companion with audio, video, and interactivity, and its expanding reach into the Gemini app, with Google Search access coming soon. The announcement notes the app itself and its mission of helping people learn faster are unchanged, and that folders are coming in a future update.
