📑 Claude releases "Docs" and "Slides"
Claude released "Claude Docs" and "Claude Slides," two new tools for writing documents and building slide decks inside a conversation, and brought "Claude Design" into regular conversations.
A one-pager, the deck based on it, and a matching visual can now come out of the same thread, and each one can be edited by hand and shared by link.
Claude could already generate Word and PowerPoint files to download. Docs and Slides work differently: the document or deck lives inside Claude, where you, your team, and Claude can keep editing it.
Here's what each one does:
Claude Docs: Claude writes the draft live, checks a few details with you first, and leaves comments explaining its choices. Teammates can edit the same doc at the same time, and tagging @Claude in a comment gets the change made in place.
Claude Slides: Claude drafts the deck from a prompt or from an existing doc. Slides can be edited directly, commented on for Claude to revise, and presented from inside Claude.
Claude Design: The visual tool that launched in April now works in any conversation, with the same on-canvas editing and design system import. You can select an element and move it, or describe the change to Claude. The standalone version keeps working.
Exports: Docs export to Word, PDF, Markdown, or Google Docs, and decks download as PowerPoint or PDF.
One link for everything: Anything made in Docs, Slides, or Design sits at a single shareable link that opens on a phone. Docs start private, and opening a shared one requires a Claude account.
The launch is part of a bigger change: Claude is merging Cowork, its separate mode for longer multi-step tasks, into regular chat. There's no mode to pick, and longer tasks keep running in the cloud after you close your laptop.
Docs, Slides, and Design are in beta on paid plans and aren't available on Free. The merged app is rolling out to Pro and Max plans over the next few weeks.

⏰ Replit releases "Routines"
Replit released "Routines," a way to schedule recurring work, like a morning summary or a weekly report, to run hourly, daily, or weekly without being asked each time.
Each run starts with regular code, and Replit's AI agent is only brought in when a step needs reasoning. Replit says this uses fewer tokens than keeping an agent running around the clock.
Replit is a platform for building apps by describing them to an AI agent. Tokens are the units AI models bill by, so an automation that calls the model at every step costs more each time it runs.
Examples from Replit:
Sales leads: Code collects and organizes new opportunities, then the agent prioritizes the ones that need attention.
Customer feedback: Code gathers and sorts feedback, then the agent pulls out the themes.
Daily briefings: A weekday summary of actionable emails, or a Monday roundup of competitor news with source links.
Routines work across Replit projects and connected tools like Slack, Gmail, Calendar, and Linear, and each result comes back to the chat where the Routine was set up.
Routines are available on Core, Pro, and Enterprise plans, but not Starter. Core users get up to five active Routines and Pro users up to 10, and both can set a per-run budget to cap spending.

💳 Meta releases "Meta One"
Meta released "Meta One," a subscription service across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI, with plans for individuals, creators, and businesses.
Subscribers get more AI usage, extra customization features, and professional tools. Meta says the free versions of its apps and Meta AI aren't changing.
Meta One is available globally and rolling out gradually, with plans, pricing, and features varying by region, app, and account. Meta counts 15 million subscriptions and trials so far.
For individuals:
Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus ($2.99 to $3.99/mo): Single-app plans that launched earlier this year, with extras like custom fonts on Instagram, custom app icons on Facebook, and themes and extra pinned chats on WhatsApp.
Core ($7.99/mo) and Premium ($19.99/mo): Bundles that include all three Plus plans and raise the limits on AI features, such as Restyle edits in Instagram Stories, voice effects, and image and video generation with Meta AI. Premium has the highest limits.
For creators and businesses:
Essential (from $14.99/mo): A verified badge and impersonation protection, plus more access to Meta Business Agent, which replies to customers on WhatsApp around the clock.
Advanced (from $49.99/mo): Publishing and analytics tools. Stories can be scheduled up to 30 days out, regular posts and reels can carry links, analytics can be exported, and teammates can get account access without the password.
Expert (from $149/mo) and Max (from $499/mo): The top tiers, with the most feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity for larger teams.
Creator and business plans also add an enhanced profile that shows your website and locations, a bolder follow button on reels, and automatic follow invitations to people who engage with your content.
Meta says "Edits Plus" is coming to Meta One, with cloud storage for syncing projects across devices and more usage of an upcoming Edits assistant.
