Projects in Claude Code Enter Beta

Claude Code is rolling out Projects in public beta on desktop and web. A project is a single ongoing conversation where Claude splits incoming work into threads, runs each as a parallel cloud session, and shares context, repositories, instructions and memory across all of them. Threads keep running after you close your laptop, and you can check on them or answer questions from your phone.
The beta starts with select Pro and Max accounts that already use cloud sessions and haven't created a Claude Projects chat before; existing Projects users will get access later. It isn't available on Team or Enterprise plans yet. Support for local workflows is planned, and accounts not yet reached by the rollout can join a waitlist.
