Claude Code 2.1.271
This release adds fast mode to Remote sessions, mouse control in /config, per-command sandbox domains, and other terminal and admin changes.
Claude Code 2.1.271 brings fast mode to Remote sessions and makes several smaller changes to the terminal UI, sandboxing, plugin installs and self-hosted runners, according to the changelog.
- Fast mode now works in Remote sessions, on both cloud and self-hosted runners: it applies the host's fast-mode setting or a "/fast" typed into the session, where an organization allows it.
- The /config panel supports a mouse in fullscreen mode: the wheel scrolls the settings list, clicking a setting's value changes it, and the row under the pointer is highlighted.
- Bash, PowerShell and Monitor in auto mode with sandboxing now support per-command allowed_domains, so the hosts a command needs are reviewed and opened for that command alone, with other hosts refused.
- Agent frontmatter and the --agents JSON option gained omitClaudeMd, letting custom and plugin subagents run without user, project and local CLAUDE.md files; managed policy files still load.
- claude plugin install and claude plugin update accept a new --accept-command flag, which accepts exactly the command a previous --json run displayed, instead of -y.
- claude self-hosted-runner gained a --drain-marker-file option: when that file exists at a SIGTERM drain, the runner reports its exit to the server as a host drain, for telemetry.
- The modelPricing managed setting and the Claude apps gateway pricing block now support a markup multiplier above 1, up to 10.
