DESIGN
🎉 ChatGPT releases “Stickers"

ChatGPT released "Stickers,” letting you turn any photo, idea, or inside joke into a custom sticker pack (with transparent backgrounds baked in).
With Stickers, you can now:
Turn photos into packs: Feed it a portrait, a pet, or a screenshot and get a set of stickers in a consistent style.
Skip background removal: Transparent PNGs apply to any image generation, not just stickers (useful for mockups, product shots, and comps).
Share where people actually talk: Export directly to iMessage or WhatsApp.
Note: Select "Images" in the sidebar and then "Stickers" to get started.

This was apart of a five-feature drop this week:
Scheduled tasks for free users: Anyone can now set recurring prompts, like a Thursday rundown of weekend events nearby.
Save temporary chats: Move a temp chat into your sidebar after the fact, and optionally turn memory on for it.
Multiple Google accounts: Paid users can connect more than one account to ask across all their email and calendars.
Voice widgets on the lock screen: Voice conversations now surface weather and sports in the iOS Live Activity, even while locked.

MUSIC
🎛️ Suno released "Studio 2.0"

Suno released "Studio 2.0," a major upgrade to its browser-based music studio that adds MIDI, built-in synths, audio effects, and an AI chat bar you can talk to like a bandmate.
Note: Studio 2.0 is available now for Suno Premier subscribers.

Here's everything new in Studio 2.0:
MIDI: Import, record, and edit MIDI right on the timeline, play parts with an external MIDI controller (or your typing keyboard), and even use MIDI clips as prompts for new audio generations.
Chat bar (beta): Ask Studio to generate new sounds, build custom plugins and synth presets, or tidy up your session. It understands music production, so you can talk to it like another member of the band.
Wavetable synth: A powerful new built-in synth for basses, leads, pads, and chords, with presets you can design through the chat bar.
Audio effects & plugins: High-quality factory effects including sidechain compression and convolution reverb, plus the ability to create your own plugins from scratch (no credits required at launch).
Advanced stem separation: Bring in audio from outside Suno, split it into super-clean stems, and rearrange your songs piece by piece.
Automation: Draw curves to change track and plugin parameters over time and breathe life into your final mix.
Premier subscribers can also export high-quality (32-bit/48kHz) multitracks and stems with no limits.
What's a DAW? A DAW (digital audio workstation) is the software musicians use to record, arrange, and mix music (think GarageBand, Ableton, or Logic). Suno Studio is a DAW that runs entirely in your browser, with AI built into every step.

MOTION DESIGN
🎨 Duolingo acquires animation studio “Animade”

Duolingo acquired “Animade,” the London-based animation and motion design studio known for expressive character work, product storytelling, and interactive experiences for major tech brands.
Duolingo’s Animade deal is part of a longer push into in-house animation. Over the past four years, it has quietly assembled a small “studio system” to power Duo’s character-driven storytelling.
Animade (2026, London): Motion and character studio joining Duolingo’s Design Studio and expanding its UK creative presence.
Hobbes (2024, Detroit): Motion studio brought in to grow Duolingo’s internal motion design capacity.
Gunner (2022, Detroit): Original animation partner behind Duo’s mascot animations and much of the app’s character art.
Even as AI speeds up how software gets built, Duolingo says exceptional human creativity is what sets products apart, and it's putting real money behind that belief by acquiring a studio full of animators.
